Web Master's Note:    Much of the history of the Manhattan Project is locked away in the memories of the few remaining veterans who are willing to share their stories.  Sometimes these stories have been "passed down" to descendent children and grandchildren.  Regardless of their source, they offer an insight not found in the historical records of the Manhattan Project.  Below are a few of the stories that have been submitted to us.  If you know of someone or have some information that would be appropriate here, please contact us via "feedback" above.  In a few instances, we have included here "biographies" of Manhattan Project veterans, written by others, that have been submitted to us.
