Jack Rose was with the Special Engineer Detachment assigned to the 509th Composite Group at Wendover Field, Utah.  He was an armorer and worked on "fitting" the planned atomic bombs into the bomb bays of the specially modified B29s.  This photo courtesy of his son, Jack Rose Jr.
