Little is known about Mr. Liebert's full duties at Columbia. It is known that he worked on some type of a switching mechanism. According to his daughter Lori, "My dad always made two of every project he worked on. He never talked of his work on the Project". |

I was sent to the radiation laboratory @ Berkley to help compose the
operational guide for start up for building 2 at Y-12. After this
assignment I was attached to a process improvement group with Dr. Oliver
Loud. I was working at the radiation laboratory writing operational procedures for building 2. Most of us had a security clearance of III this information was secret and we could not see it any more. When we got back to Oak Ridge our security was level was raised from III to IV and we could then see what we had written. |

Robert Coveyou was born in Petoskey, Michigan in 1915 and moved to Detroit
at the age of 2. His father worked in the foundry at Ford. Robert graduated from Cooley High School in Detroit and was a scholarship student at the University of Chicago in the fall of 1933. After two years there, he returned to Detroit. Very early in WW II, he was a radio instructor for military recruits in St. Louis. He was recruited for the Manhattan Project, where he was one of the original group of health physicists under K.Z. Morgan. |

Dr. Albert L. Myerson passed away March 31st, 2004. He had a long and
illustrious career. He received his undergraduate degree in Physical
Chemistry from Penn State University in 1941 and his PhD in Physical
Chemistry from the University of Wisconsin in 1948. He was world
renowned in his area of specialty (combustion research), and contributed
greatly to our country during its times of need (the Manhattan Project
during World War II, Inter- Continental Ballistic Missile research at GE
and Cornell during the Cold War, air pollution research at Exxon in the
1970’s) and has helped to improve his community wherever he has lived
(community orchestra member in NY and NJ, volunteer at Mote Marine
Laboratory in Florida, etc).

Anthony Nazarowski passed away, but his memory lives on through his
children, three sons and a daughter. He was a very disciplined,
well-read, hard working individual. He stressed the importance of always
doing your best and striving for excellence. Of all the things I remember the most was his motto in life..."Always have a dream. It's not as important that you attain everything you dream or hope for. It's more important to have that dream so you continue to work hard to achieve it." |

Crichfield's were supposedly the electrical shake-down crew for that
plant. They left Oak Ridge in Sept. 1945. (I was born in Harriman in

When he Passed away. We found a document that certified his work on The
