My dad moved the family from the Oklahoma Ordnance Works some time in 1943.  We lived in the Hanford Trailer camp until the construction camp closed in 1944 or 1945 and moved into Richland.  I have many fond memories of my dad and mom sitting around the dinner table wondering what we were building.  We found out in Aug of 45.  I subsequently worked as an Iron worker on the tank farm for a couple of summers before moving on to a career in the Air Force.
