Mr. Gackenbach is the last surviving officer member of the crew of Up an' Atom. He was the navigator for the Hiroshima photo plane on August 6, 1945 and the navigator on the Enola Gay when it flew as the Kokura weather plane on August 9, 1945. one photo per buyer.
