Package Descriptions

As the largest organization of Manhattan Project veterans and family members of veterans, it has been our role in the 2005 Manhattan Project Family Reunion at Oak Ridge to use our extensive resources to reach out to our members and others interested in this important history and encourage them to attend this "once in a lifetime" event.  With close to 50,000 visitors a month to our web site, we have an excellent forum with which to publicize this historic reunion.

We found that there was a preponderance of "things to do", but very few that would enable the veterans and family members to spend some quality time reminiscing and meeting old and new friends.  Therefore, we have arranged for a number of veteran-specific activities to augment the large number of tours and exhibits planned by the other reunion organizers.  These veteran-specific activities are focused on the following groups of attendees:

  • Manhattan Project veterans, military & civilian
  • Family members of veterans
  • Others who want to meet and talk with the veterans

Space for the above activities at the Doubletree Hotel are extremely limited.  Please purchase your tickets as soon as possible.

Tickets for the K-25 Picnic on the Lawn ($15.00) may be purchased directly from the Atomic Heritage Foundation.
