J. Robert Oppenheimer on TrialPhoto: P-188 (Edward Teller)
This is a photo of Edward Teller, the "Father of the Hydrogen Bomb". A long-time antagonist of Robert Oppenheimer, he testified against "Oppie" before the Security Board. As a result of his testimony, he was ostracized by the majority of the scientific community for many years. He later played a part in helping Oppenheimer win the Fermi Award. It is believed that Oppenheimer forgave him for his transgressions.
