Rev. Louis V. McDonough

1900 - 1980

In the aftermath of the horrific explosion at the Philadelphia Navy Yard, it was Lt. Cmdr. (Rev) Louis V. McDonough's duty, as Naval Chaplain of the Navy Yard, to administer last rites to the dead and dying.  Father McDonough was never aware of the circumstances surrounding the explosion...until the day he died.  "Click" HERE for the full story of this startling event.
