Our mission is to preserve a very important piece of American history and
to make that history available to students (grade school, middle school,
high school, & college), life-long learners, and scholars/researchers. Thus far we have been very successful in this area and
more students learn about the Manhattan Project from our web site than
from any other source. Today, we are approaching 40,000 visitors
per month with 200,000 web pages viewed. 90+% of our traffic are
first time visitors. Our web site has grown so large and with so much traffic that it is becoming very expensive to operate. We are a 501(c)3 non-profit, tax-exempt organization, and no one within our organization receives any compensation.
