We Need Your Help!

We are looking for old photos, old documents, old letters, old newspaper articles...anything that has a historical significance pertaining to the Manhattan Project.  Following is a listing of items that we are interested in:
  • Veteran Photos - Due to secrecy rules, cameras were not allowed on many of the Manhattan Project sites and thus photos, other than official, are rare.  However, photos of the veteran taken "off-site" or while on leave are fine.
  • Veteran Military Separation Papers
  • Manhattan Project Certificates of Participation
  • Misc. Manhattan Project Letters and Documents
  • Diaries
  • Newspaper Articles
  • Oral Histories - On audio or video media

If you happen to have any such memorabilia in your possession, we would like you to consider giving us permission to use it as part of our Manhattan Project Veteran Digital Library.  In addition, we are facilitating the collection and cataloguing of both Manhattan Project and World War II memorabilia as part of our partnership with the Veterans History Project of the Library of Congress.  We can accept any "image" in a *.gif or *.jpg format.  If you want, you may mail us the original and we will have it "scanned" for you and then return the original to you.

Please use the form below if you have such items in your possession.  If you have any questions, please contact us via "feedback" above.
