509th Composite Group

Quiz Contest #1

The Enola Gay

The 509th Composite Group of the Twentieth Air Force was charged with the responsibility of delivering America's newly developed atomic weapons.  We have created the below  Quiz to test your knowledge of this phenomenal operation as well as the Little Boy and Fat Man bombs.  There are 20 questions, each with four possible answers.  Some are easy and some are difficult.  But don't be discouraged.  This is an excellent way to learn about the 509th Composite Group.

DIRECTIONS:  Please enter your name and email address below.  Then choose one answer, and one answer only, for each of the twenty questions.  Check over your answers carefully before "clicking" on the submit button at the bottom of the test.  Please note that the first answer in each question is already marked.  This is a protection against a question being left inadvertently "blank" and thus causing a problem in the recording of your answer choices.  Simply "click" your mouse pointer in the circle to the immediate left of the answer you choose. Thank you for participating!
