Col.
Howard C. Bush. During World War II, Col. Bush was a 1st Lieutenant
and then a Captain assigned to the Manhattan Engineer District at Los
Alamos. He was the Commanding Officer of the Base Camp at Trinity
Site and had overall responsibility for security. He retired from
the Army in 1963 and died in August 1995. Marvin Davis, a former
member of the mounted military police at Los Alamos and Trinity, has
provided this collection of photos and documents for publication here.
Mr. Davis maintained a friendship with Howard Bush after the war.
When Mr. Bush passed away, his wife sent the mementos to Marvin Davis.
