Operation Crossroads Cachet - U.S.S. Haven (AH-12 Hospital Ship) - She was at Nagasaki after WWII (9/11/45) and took on board allied ex-prisoners of war suffering from the effects of the atomic bomb blast.  She was later fitted with radiological equipment and took on a contingent of researchers prior to departing for Bikini.  She arrived there 6/12/46 (operated temporarily as APH-112) where she supervised the medical aspects of the experiments throughout the operation.  She also assisted in the inspection of the target ships.  She was struck from the Navy list on 3/1/67.  Postmarked July 1, 1946
