Sgt. Abe Spitzer Collection

Sgt. Abe Spitzer was the radio operator regularly assigned to The Great Artiste and on the B-29 'Bockscar' on its historic mission to drop a second atomic bomb on the Japanese city of Nagasaki.  The images below are some photos and misc. documents that belonged to Mr. Spitzer.  They were provided to us by Joan Hinterbichler, the daughter of Abe Spitzer.
