Sgt. Abe Spitzer Collection

Sgt. Abe Spitzer was the radio operator regularly assigned to The Great Artiste and on the B-29 'Bockscar' on its historic mission to drop a second atomic bomb on the Japanese city of Nagasaki.  The images below represent the 15 page document which is the official mission orders for the Hiroshima mission.  This very important and historic document was provided to us by Joan Hinterbichler, the daughter of Abe Spitzer.
