"Decision at Nagasaki: The Mission That Almost Failed" by Fred J. Olivi, Lt. Col. USAF (Ret.); Co-Pilot of Bockscar with William R. Watson, Jr.  Copyright 1999.  This is a book that had to be written.  Revisionist historians creating history out of pieces of paper found in archives thousands of miles from the battlefields and generations after the event cannot tell the story of what really happened.  Fred Olivi can tell the story of the mission to Nagasaki on "Bockscar" on that August day in 1945 because he was there.  When the story of that mission is read close to 60 years after it occurred it is thought of by many readers as an account of a combat mission with a happy ending.  Few appreciate the horrendous difficulty of the mission as it unfolded on that day.  Fred has accurately put those events down on paper that seekers of the true history of the event can study.  The book is 6" x 9" with a glossy soft cover and has 285 pages.  It includes 200 photos and complete information on all of the B-29's taking part in BOTH atomic missions.
